Scope
Vitalux was hired through a bidding process by Sabesp to implement a Loss Reduction and Energy Efficiency Program via Performance Contract, covering the Americanópolis sector and the following actions:
Sectorization and hydraulic modelling with analysis of critical spots, covering:
- Installation of a 600 mm ultrasonic flowmeter.
- Installation of a 48 m³/h conventional booster.
- Reduction of distribution pressure of high zone.
- Leak search through 90 km of networks.
- Optimization of the Americanópolis EEA, covering:
- Supply and installation of a medium voltage panel and installation of a new 500 kVA dry power transformer.
- Supply and substitution of 3 250CV motor pump sets.
- Supply and installation of an automation system.
